Every year the Guild brings outside instructors offering workshops in machine or hand quilting techniques. Classes have included everything from project design, fabric and color selection, piecing, applique, quilting to binding. Sometimes, the Guild sponsors "Quilt the Day Away" offering full day workshops taught by talented guild members.

Saturday, June 1, 2024 QUILT THE DAY AWAY! 7 Classes to choose from!
This event will be held at the Merrick Golf hClub from 12:30 to 4:30 pm The Guild will be providing the teachers, the food for lunch and the raffles! Cost to members is $20. Registration is limited to 8 people per class. After the May 20 General Meeting, non-members will be able to register if there is still room.
Classes being offered are:
Criss Cross Apron/ Tee Shirt Quilt/ Attic Window Quilt/ Cathedral Window Pillow/ Chandelier Quilt/ Freedom Quilt/ and Walk About.
